My husband, Darren, and I live in the wonderful city of Louisville, KY with our three children, Natalie Brooke, Micah Rylan Patrick and our newly adopted little one, Joy Noelle. My husband is on staff at our church as a music/ youth pastor, but he has been elected to become the lead pastor beginning in June 2013. I was a stay at home mom until about 5 years ago, when we found it necessary for me to work full-time. While my heart is at home with my children, God has been gracious to us. My husband is amazing and he does so much around the house that I often feel guilty. My employer is a very family-friendly place to work and my boss is flexible with family related issues. My prayer is that someday....someday, I can be home full-time taking care of my children, my household and my husband. I recently decided to try a business venture, working as a Compassion Entrepreneur for Trades of Hope. I love it because it is a tangible way to help women in poverty. It is a tangible way to help women feed their children, so they don't have to give them up. You can find more information about Trades of Hope at www.mytradesofhope.com/jennalewis.
